Summary Description:  This position is a Z Data Professional Services Consultant. This is a client-facing role, having accountability for client expectations management while delivering the services and solutions associated with best in class software offerings.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Focus on delivering data warehouse solutions utilizing Z Data along with related products. Provide data warehouse consulting services, thought leadership, technical and industry expertise to Z Data’s clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, SQL, end-user tools, database implementation and performance tuning.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of relational database technology (DB2, Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, Informix) in a large-scale decision-support or active warehousing environment and a working knowledge of third-party BI and ETL tools.
• Work independently or manage a small on-site delivery team

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.   Working knowledge of relational database technology, and end-user tools in an application development environment.
• Involved in state-of-the-art data warehousing technologies, including relational databases, business intelligence and analytical tools, and architectural strategies.
• At least 2 years of recent hands-on involvement with Data Warehousing implementation or database design.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor others.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

This position includes the following:

• Annual salary DOE
• Excellent full benefits package; bonus potential.
• 40 hour work week.
• Up to 80% travel Monday through Friday, home weekends.
